A message from Mike Cleveland: “I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of the folks who voted for me for SPBGMA’s Fiddle Performer of the Year this year. This is the second time I’ve won this award and it means a lot to me. I wasn’t able to be at the awards but when I heard about it last night, I was completely surprised because I was nominated with some great musicians that I respect a lot! I want to thank my Dad and Mom, John and Elaine Cleveland, for their support, Jim Roe of Roe Entertainment, Kimberly Williams of East Public Relations, Rounder Records, and D’Addario. I also want to thank the band members of Flamekeeper, Ashby Frank, Glenn Gibson, Charlie Lawson and Blake Bowen for traveling up and down the road with me and making our job of entertaining so much fun. Most of all, thanks again to all the fans who have continued to support me and Flamekeeper. We are looking forward to a great year ahead and hope to see all of you at a show this year!”
